Who is responsible

The data controller is Seven Consult ApS, trading as HEKLA, CVR 39368218, Copenhagen, Denmark. Registered at Store Kongensgade 81, 1264 Copenhagen K.

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company name and your message. We use it for one thing: answering your enquiry and, if you want, arranging a conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, under GDPR article 6(1)(f).

If you email or call us directly, we handle that correspondence the same way.

What we do not collect

• No cookies, of any kind.
• No analytics or visitor tracking.
• No advertising pixels or third party trackers.

The site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard font request to Google when the page loads. If we later self host the fonts, this section gets shorter.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the dialogue is active, and delete it no later than 12 months after the last contact, unless it becomes part of a client engagement with its own agreement.

Who we share it with

Nobody, for marketing. Your enquiry may pass through our email provider and, if the contact form is connected, a form processing service. Today that is our email host only. If we add a form processing service, it is named here before it goes live.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask for access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to our processing. Write to hjalti@hekla.cc and we will handle it within a month. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency, at datatilsynet.dk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. This version: 24 August 2026.
